It's time to revisit (and update!) a trend already seen here.

As we move from Fall 2011 to Holiday 2011 (and even jumping ahead to Spring 2012!), the colour red should already be present in your wardrobe - whether it's a red shirtdress, snappy little red jacket, or even a slick red pump. How about an easy expansion to red tops? Specifically red minimalist tops, a combination of the colour trend and another key trend this season - minimal shapes. And when you think of minimal, it definitely doesn't mean plain and simple.. these tops all have a little something extra, whether it's a geometric shape (asymmetry or otherwise), a little twist (literally, when you see the Lanvin top below!), perhaps some draping, or even a wrap style.

This is both a daytime and evening trend, and perfect for the office. You can wear these tops with your black trousers or pencil skirts, and keep in mind that grey and red is a terrific combination. It's also a very easy way to breathe life into some of your existing staples.
