Peep toe ankle boots are not new, but they have become increasingly popular.. and are now considered mainstream! What started out as a runway/celebrity look has become a staple for Fall/Winter 2010 - and the new twist on peep-toe is the "cut out ankle bootie". In keeping with the current statement shoe concept, these are edgy and fun, and very chic! Wear them with your basics, to add a pop to your look (fabulous with skinny jeans and casual tee), or for your more formal events, pair them with a simple draped black jersey dress.

While we started to see over the knee boots last season, they have become a VERY major trend for the new season - they even have their own initials, "OTK" boots. The Glamazon - all the major shoe designers have come up with some pretty fabulous over-the-top over-the-knee boots. The likes of Christian Louboutin and Jimmy Choo (among others) offer up a number of sophisticated choices - since the look is glamour, wear these with shift dresses and opaque tights.
