Fall 2010 Fashion Trends: The best Camel handbags for the new season!

As regular readers know, camel is one of the hottest trends for the new fall season - and while the color flatters every skin tone, sometimes it's fun to add a trend to your wardrobe without a full commitment to a new color. And that's where handbags come in!

Lucky for us, handbag shapes don't change too dramatically each season, but this season has definitely seen a return to retro. Tennis fans will be thrilled the US Open started today, and while that means the end of summer is near, it also means back to school fashion, and an update on your fall wardrobe. And every teen knows exactly who these two celebs are! Pretty little Demi Lovato joined the Jonas Brothers over the weekend for 2010 US Open Arthur Ashe Kids Day, and we have a couple of fashion spots to share.

This is a very well deserved mention for this fabulous online boutique, but it certainly doesn't come as a surprise to readers of ShoppingTheTrend, as we have been loving them for years.

Shopbop is a treasure trove of online style, they have an extensive variety to suit not only every lifestyle, but they are mindful of every budget! Shipping is free - something I am constantly reminding readers of - and they also carry some tough-to-find labels (Brian Reyes, Prabal Gurung, to name a couple). Fall 2010 Shoe Trends: Top 20 Over-The-Knee Boots for cool & casual chic

Over-the-knee boots made a comeback last winter, and if there is one must-have this new season, it's the casual and cool OTK boot.

If you're new to this trend, you will be pleasantly surprised to know that "over-the-knee" doesn't necessarily mean edgy and over-the-top! In previous years, it was tough to distinguish between OTK and thigh-high boots, which have always been reserved for the the confident fashionista who knows exactly what to to wear.

The selection here is designed for those who are new to the trend - casual and stylish, and very easily integrated into your existing wardrobe. With September and back-to-school right around the corner, our fashion thoughts should be turning to dramatic and dreamy ideas. Gone are the lazy days of summer, where all you needed were denim shorts, a white tee and flip flops to keep you happy!

The new Fall/Winter 2010 season means there are lots of fun new trends and treats to choose from, and nothing makes a more dramatic entrance than a black lace dress! Stella McCartney has focused on this trend over the past few seasons (see Rihanna below!), and many other designers played with black lace on the Fall runway. Whether it's a mesh overlay, or lace sleeves, or even head to toe black lace (like Dolce & Gabbana), this is one trend you should be considering for Fall.

Fall 2010 Fashion Trends: Lovely leather dresses, or a splash of leather trim!

Fall/Winter 2010 is all about a return to classic elegance - from wasp-waisted dresses, to simple geometric shapes. But that doesn't mean there aren't some edgy looks to be had, they just take on a more elegant shape this season!

If you're looking to make a real fashion statement, a leather dress should definitely be on your list. Some of our favorite celebrities have rocked some pretty smooth leather dresses - Jessica Alba in Derek Lam, soap actress Molly Burnett in bebe to pretty Emma Watson in a simply divine leather and lace and floral dress by Christopher Kane.

You also don't have to commit to the full leather look - while there are some gorgeous statement leather dresses, leather accents are the more the likely candidate for most. Don't worry about mixing and matching your fabrics either, it's encouraged this season! Look for dresses with leather panels, elegant tops with leather trim, or even a leather bodice paired with wool pencil skirt.

If you want to wear this trend at work, stick to items with subtle trim. But for evening, the full leather look is exactly what you want to wear!
