It's time for another stylish shoe trend for Spring/Summer 2011, and while it might be too soon for some of us to switch to summer sandals, that doesn't mean you can't start enjoying new season treats right away!

Fresh new arrivals are ramping up online now, and this spring shoe trend is a delight as it is perfectly appropriate for work, play and casual weekend wear. The wedge hasn't gone anywhere, neither has the peep toe pump or the strappy sandal... but an ankle strap has been added to all of these for Spring 2011...

There are two types of ankle straps - one is the more delicate skinny strap, something you would barely notice. This is a flattering style on everyone, and it lends itself to stylish peep toe pumps and elegant wedge heels.

The second type of ankle strap is the cuff - a wider style, it makes more of a statement, and while you don't have to be a fashionista to pull this off, make sure you choose a style that suits you. Again, these are office appropriate, but the majority of ankle cuffs will be found on strappy sandals this summer. It was also a major runway trend this season...
