Color trends are always enjoyable to profile as they provide a quick update to any part of your wardrobe - for those casual weekends, much-needed professional office attire or even just a fabulous new look for an upcoming holiday event!
Red, burgundy are purple are popular shades this season, but how about a luscious shade of plum? Somewhere between red, purple and black, it evokes luxury and sophisticated elegance. And it's an easy colour to accessorize as well - slick black patent pumps or statement ankle boots look terrific with plum (no need for neutral here!). When choosing something in plum, just remember current key trends: leather, lace, minimalist or baroque.. and there is a little of all of that below!

For a one-off piece, consider a draped plum top, which can be mixed with leather leggings or your favourite jeans (just amp up the jewellery!) - or if you don't have new-season waxed or coated jeans, plum will be easy to incorporate into your existing wardrobe. These faux leather leggings by Blank will look fantastic with a neat white shirt, long tailored jacket and ankle boots - wear them with a chunky knit and tall boots for a stylish lunch look, or glam up with strappy black silk top and gold sandals for a party. Very versatile.. and the price is right at under $100!
