Carla Gugino looks lovely in a bright orange dress by British designer Amanda Wakeley at the Hollywood Foreign Press Association's Annual Summer Luncheon held at the Beverly Hills Hotel on August 9th. With a square cut neckline, double straps, and open back, she looked sexy and glam.. perfect for a dress-to-impress lunch! She paired the dress with a shiny gold clutch and statement gold pumps.

The dress is from Amanda Wakeley's Fall/Winter 2011 collection (which is now almost two full seasons ago!), which goes to show that a great dress is timeless. If you're a brunette like Carla, then orange should be on your list of new and fresh colours. We are seeing rich shades of orange and pumpkin this season, and some more bold and bright shades right through Resort 2013.
