Haute Couture and red carpet fashion may be scene stealers on the runway, but real life demands a wardrobe that is both stylish and functional. And to that end, Stella McCartney presented a collection for Autumn/Winter 2012 during Paris Fashion Week that was both leisurely and chic. With her typical minimalist style, she mixed luxe textures with feminine shapes, and gave us more colour than we are used to seeing from her!
Silhouettes were long and lean, with some of the coats nipped in at the waist, but there was also an underlying sporty vibe across the collection. Even the formal dresses had an ease about them. She presented a combination of colours that will make your spring to fall transition easy - bright pinks and blues were paired were with paired with shades of grey and brown. What's refreshing here is a comfortable vibe that looks both stylish and tailored, and that includes some gorgeous textured matching knits.
Trend to wear now: Your new season neon pink (or electric blue) blouse can be worn with grey trousers or a slim brown skirt for a fashion forward look.
