Jason Wu showed a collection for Spring/Summer 2013 that was more edgy than we have seen in the past, and while we may not see Michelle Obama in any of these pieces at the next Inauguration Ball, this is a collection that will be snapped up by celebrities. Sexy and fun, with terrific shapes and contrasting fabrics.
Leather continues to be an important trend this season, and you should now put it on your must-have list for next spring as well - this collection was full of snappy leather dresses, skirts and shorts (both smooth and croc-embossed), paired with tailored mesh and lace. Black, white and nude dominated the runway, and the only colour used was a touch of bright pink coral, paired with black. And there was mesh.. lots of it! From delicate full-length gloves to gorgeous sleeves and skirts.
