Frida Giannini took Gucci back to the early seventies with a fantastic collection for Spring/Summer 2013 full of bright colours, matching tunics & trousers, and ruffles that were fluttering in contrast to long lean (and minimalist!) lines.
The colors here are stunning - coral pink, turquoise, cobalt blue and citrus yellow, in gorgeous elegant shapes. Where Gucci's previous collections have been dark and dramatic, Spring/Summer 2013 is fun and playful. And very matching! Beautiful strappy heels in the exact same shade of pink (or turquoise or yellow) and statement costume necklaces that pop with colour. Dresses and tunics are long and lean, but you will find Gucci's signature sexiness in dramatic keyholes and plunging necklines.
