Trademark Pucci prints have taken a backseat on the Spring/Summer 2013 runway, as Peter Dundas continues to move the brand forward with an edgy, luxe and sheer collection. Kaftans styles of the French Riviera have been replaced by military-inspired tunics & jackets that are paired with loose trousers, and we even see a few quilted kimono jackets - as the designer pays homage to the "opulence of Indochina".
White also continues to be an important trend next season, with delicate sheer trim on a beautiful halter gown, sassy sheer mini dresses with asian-inspired applique and plenty of sheer panels found on those loose trousers. The military-style silk bomber jacket (and quilted kimono!) is something quite new and fresh for Pucci.
In anticipation of next season, black and white sheer accents can be added to your holiday wardrobe now, and keep camouflage on your shortlist of prints for next season! Shop Emilio Pucci online.
