It occurred to me recently that we haven't seen our favourite WAG, Alex Gerrard, out and about for a while.. but look who we have here? She was snapped last night arriving at Cricket's annual Christmas party, held at the Olive Press restaurant in Liverpool.

I love it when fashion tells a story, and it's wonderful to see Sylvie van der Vaart at the 2010 Bambi Awards, looking quite radiant. It was only in June 2009 they anounced she had breast cancer - here we are, less than 18 months later, and she is back to kicking up her heels on the red carpet! It has recently come out that hubby Rafael stayed with Real Madrid last season as Sylive was undergoing cancer treatment at Clinica Quiron in Madrid. This is definitely my kind of story today....

Say hello to the lovely Jane Given, she is the significant other of Shay Given, and I must confess I had to research 'zactly who he was - plays for Manchester City. I still need to consult with my Irish footballer expert for some clarification (he's also our Carol Vorderman expert!).
