It occurred to me recently that we haven't seen our favourite WAG, Alex Gerrard, out and about for a while.. but look who we have here? She was snapped last night arriving at Cricket's annual Christmas party, held at the Olive Press restaurant in Liverpool.

Regular readers might remember it this time last year when she wore a few pieces by Balmain (the shock & horror!). Fair enough they were expensive, but why doesn't the press jump all over other celebs wearing the label? I might add that not much has been said ('cept here) about the recent launch of her very affordable collection for Forever Unique. She has worn her own dresses, as well as a steady stream of affordable fashion.. Isabel Marant, Topshop & more...

For the Cricket party, she wore a black draped jersey dress by Alexander Wang - and those Alexander McQueen ankle boots with gold floral-engraved heel that make me swoon! There is only one size left over at Net-A-Porter - and before the press jumps all over her for wearing major boots, did I mention they are almost sold out at Net-A-Porter? That means other people are actually wearing them too..
