Tess Daly went from a sheer black Alberta Ferretti dress to bold pink & black dress by Holly Fulton on Strictly Come Dancing this weekend (October 13 & 14).

First of all, we said hello to ALL the dancers on Saturday night, without too many surprises. Victoria Pendleton managed a decent enough Foxtrot, Louis was strongly poised (if a tad unsmiling) in his Viennese Waltz, Dani was fun to watch, Kimberley danced a smooth Foxtrot, and Denise's Jive was fantastic! At the end of the day, however, it was Johnny Ball who danced his last Foxtrot, as the first star voted off the show. Looks like a promising series, my money is on Denise, Louis and Kimberley to be the last 3 standing.

Tess kicked off the evening on Saturday in a dramatic sleeveless black dress with mesh yoke, satin bodice, and interesting paneled (shredded?) chiffon skirt, which gave her the thigh-high split trend. From Alberta Ferretti Fall/Winter 202 runway, her exact dress is online over at Giglio. I liked her hairstyle - very glam.

For the results show with Claudia Winkleman (she's back, yay!), Tess is wearing Holly Fulton's rasbperry ripple print - a 70s inspired halterneck dress in pink & black.
