Royal Wedding: Victoria Beckham in navy Victoria Beckham, Princess Beatrice Valentino Couture & High Street!
When it comes to the fashion at the Royal Wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton (now Princess Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge!), it's fair to sat that all eyes were on the bride. She wore that magnificent white lace dress by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen. But there were some other notable designers represented at the wedding, so let's take a quick look.
It was no secret that Victoria Beckham was going to wear a dress from her own collection, and despite the kerfuffle of hubby David wearing his Order of the British Empire medal on the wrong side, the Beckhams looked terrific. Being 7 months pregnant (give or take), Victoria's choices were limited, she chose a rather somber dark navy boatneck dress with asymmetric hem. The Philip Treacy hat matched her dress perfectly, and I liked the ponytail (although it's the one thing my fashion pal did not like!).
Princess Beatrice wore Valentino Haute Couture, Eugenie went for blue & floar Vivienne Westwood, and I even spotted a Karen Millen dress arriving. That was Sarah Bercow, wife of House of Commons Speaker John Bercow, wearing Karen Millen's trench dress from last year! As seen on Rita Simons at the 2010 British Soap Awards back in May 2010...
