Spot: High glamour indeed from the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2012 as both Jessica Alba and Jessie J chose dramatic & gothic black. Always an enjoyable event to cover, this year Jessie was awarded the UK Solo Artist Award (very well deserved!).You would expect all the major designers to be represented, and Jessica looked terrific in Alexander McQueen, a delicate but major black gown from Spring/Summer 2012. Elegant pleated skirt, with pleated peplum, I love the rather deconstructed look of the bodice.
Jessie J and Julien Macdonald are always a winning combination, and she chose a racy sheer dress from his Spring/Sumer 2012 collection. No online shopping here, just a couple of great looks in black.. if you have an event coming up, I recommend you choose something similar (gothic, but feminine!).
