A new series of Strictly Come Dancing kicked off Friday night, and Tess Daly gets the fashion started with a black dress by McQ that you can buy online! It's too soon for me to call favourites, or to speculate what the next few weeks will bring, but Denise Van Outen certainly got off to a fantastic start with her partner James. There's been some talk that she has previous training as a dancer, which isn't fair, but that's nothing new (Jason Donovan was singing and dancing as Joseph for how long??). Victoria Pendleton was a bit of a surprise - the athletes usually have more drive & skill than the other celebs.
Fashion is why we're here, and Tess chose a terrific little black dress - v-neck, with a rather major full skirt with on-trend peplum by McQ. This is a new arrival online over at reader fav Net-A-Porter and My-Wardrobe - it combines the fit & flared trend with the peplum trend!
