Lady Mary herself will be at the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards as Downton has been nominated for a very impressive 16 awards, including Michelle in the lead actress category. This is for season two, which many have said wasn't as good the first, but heck, who cares. It's getting rewarded for being a darn good (and very entertaining!) show.

Michelle looks lovely here - and yes indeed, the lace trend is going absolutely nowhere in coming seasons. She is wearing Erdem - Ariel Lace & Satin dress - black sheer lace sleeves, and black lace applique over fuchsia skirt, with scalloped lace trim. I partaicularly like the contrast of the black sheer sleeves, and splash of colour. Her fair skin and dark hair look lovely as well.
