Buy Lydia Hearst Temperley London dress @ Serpentine Gallery Summer Party 2012
I've always enjoyed covering the Serpentine Gallery Summer Party, and we kick off this year with some online shopping, courtesy of Lydia Hearst! She looked fantastic in Temperley London.Lydia chose a gorgeous ivory dress that would actually be perfect for a wedding. Intricate floral applique tulle and stretch silk gown, with delicate white bead embellishment, she completed the vintage look with a braided updo (the celebrity hairstyle of the moment!) and dramatic dark red lipstick (another new celebrity trend).
The dress is from a previous season, and one size is actually online over at theOutnet US (Net-A-Porter's little sister site)... and even better, it's at a fraction of the original price at 75% off! I've often said some of these designer evening dresses should be viewed as potential wedding gowns, if you're in the market... quality craftsamnship, and a gorgeous design. What more do you need?
