Gemma Arterton was nominated for BAFTA Rising Star Award, which I found a little odd (if you saw her red carpet interview, apparently she did as well!). I actually consider her an established & talented actress, it's easy to forget she is only 25, and not too long ago was a St Trinian's girl!

Jessica Alba ditched her usual mini dress and went for a bright blue empire waist dress by Versace, with thigh high slit (only visible when she walked on stage) and gorgeous turquoise, gold & diamond necklace. I have to say this colour is stunning on her! She had a little bit of an awkward moment when Geoffery Rush wasn't there to pick up his award for Best Supporting Actor. The hair was in a Heidi-esque braided updo, this is a hairstyle we are seeming more of lately..
