My oh my, what a difference a day makes in the life of Rihanna! She flew into London for a couple of appearances, the first one was the launch of her new fragrance Reb'l Fleur at the 'House of Fraser' store. She wore a very interesting very bright and very feathery ensemble by Antonio Berardi. From the designer's Resort 2012 collection, this certainly made her easy to spot in a crowd.. she piled her hair high, and swept it to the side (although to be fair, this is probably a hairpiece).
And the day after her fragrance launch, she was back at work, performing at the V Festival, and THIS is the Rihanna we know so well! She rocked Day 1 in a cropped Union Jack tee, and cutout faded denim shorts

More from the 2011 Billboard Music Awards, and this is also the second time in as many days we have seen an ivory trouser suit! Rihanna was definitely one of the belles of the ball last night, she walked away with three Billboard Music Awards, which tied her with Lady Gaga, Usher & Taylor Swift, who also won three.
Rihanna's red carpet choices usually consist of couture - we have seen her in Elie Saab, Marchesa, Jean Paul Gaultier, Oscar de la Renta and most recently, Stella McCartney black lace dress at the 2011 Met Gala. But tonight, ahh yes, tonight, she completely won me over with her ivory suit by Max Azria. It was cool, calm, collected and fabulous!

On December 30th, there was a launch party for the Grand Opening of Marquee Nightclub, and our new fav redhead fashionista Florence Welch performed with The Machine rockin' a spectacular beaded open-sleeve jumpsuit by designer Elie Saab. This is Haute Couture folks.. wow... I don't know any performer who can pull off couture on stage, still managing to look cool calm & collected!
My goodness it has been slow on the celebrity front, hasn't it? Not much to report, but stay tuned as Awards Show season kicks off with a bang the FIRST week of January - People's Choice Awards are on January 6th.
