Spot: Gwen Stefani looked polished arriving at the Heart Foundation Gala held at the Hollywood Palladium on Thursday night, wearing Georges Chakra Haute Couture. Now that the Met Gala is over, the next time you will see a flurry of couture will be the Cannes Film Festival, which kicks off on May 16th (has it already been one year??). Spot: The Coldplay concert at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday night brought quite a few celebs, and if you ever have the chance to see Chris Martin & pals live, I highly recommend it! One of my fav concerts in recent years, they will definitely not disappoint.
Spot: Lea Michele in Jenni Kayne at 'Glee' Screening. What an interesting season of 'Glee' it has been.. once again, the show doesn't shy away from taking on big topics (Rachel's failed audition was a shocker, as well as the new Coach Beast storyline). And on Tuesday night, the whole cast gathered for TV Academy's Special Screening at the Leonard H. Goldenson theatre, which included some Q&A.
Spot: The Battleship girls were at it again (as I like to call them!) - that would be Rihanna and Brooklyn Decker, continuing to pose at premieres for their new film 'Battleship'. And we are just starting to see early reviews trickle in - very mixed so far. It's an epic adventure about aliens landing at sea, as the earth fights for survival (on water, in the air, and on land!). It sounds like a cross between Transformers and Independence Day. Not quite my cup of tea, but I'm guessing the teenage boys will love it. 
Spot: More fashion from the dynamic duo of Brooklyn Decker and Rihanna, as they continue to heat up the red carpet ay an assortment of promotion photocalls from Battleship. And in this case, we have an actual premiere - in Japan! Here is an update on the film's release date - he movie opens in Europe first - in London on April 12th, but the USA premiere will only be held on May 18th.
Spot: Switching to another awards show, this one in Las Vegas, Taylor Swift showed off a new fringe and elegant silhouette at tonight's ACM Awards. She also happened to win her second consecutive Entertainer of Year Award, which is quite an accomplishment. She showed a pretty good sense of humour when she presented Blake Shelton with his award for Male Vocalist of the Year, after he had made a joke at her expense during his opening banter with Reba McEntire.
Spot: Rihanna was in London to promote 'Battleship' (quite early, I must say), and was snapped leaving the Mandarin hotel on Thursday. The paparazzi hovered over her when she arrived at the hotel, dressed in an athletic lace ensemble from Stella McCartney Pre-Fall 2012. But the more significant spot was when she was leaving the hotel, dressed to the nines in nothing but an evening blazer.
