Tatiana Blatnik married her Prince Nikolaos yesterday at St Nikolaos Church on the Island of Spetses in Greece, and what a magical dress!
While every bride has their own idea of the perfect dress, I think we can all agree that Tatiana looks lovely. The dress was a custom design by Angel Sanchez, strapless with a frothy lace skirt - the little white lace jacket is an elegant touch, and I particularly love her classic styling a sideswept updo. While there has been some speculation about her background, she is not actually American -

Big wedding news - Prince Nikolaos of Greece married his girlfriend Tatiana Blatnik yesterday (events planner for Diane Von Furstenburg in London!) in Spetses, Greece. Lots of European royals in attendance.. you can imagine..
While poking through some of the wedding photos, I happened to spot something from the pre-wedding reception and gala dinner - Princess Madeleine of Sweden in the 'zact same white pleated Oscar de la Renta dress as seen on Katherine Jenkins back in October 2009! Put these photos

In keeping with the theme this week, I have another Royal Ascot fashion moment, and this one is an exclusive you won't find anywhere else! While the Princes William & Harry have been in South Africa, the Princesses Beatrice & Eugenie have spent some time at Royal Ascot.
And on Royal Ascot Day 5, Princess Beatrice won me over with THIS look! While the gold hat was really quite lovely, it was the cream strapless dress with gold scallops that was an instant spot... and between the two girls, they have picked some very nice, and affordable, dresses for their official duties. This reminds me of Zara Phillips at the Cheltenham Races, her white Karen Millen coat was a very popular spot back then!
Beatrice paired her Maje dress with a cotton tuxedo-style white jacket by McQ - both of these items available online at Net-A-Porter.. photos & links below!

We have a bit of a theme going this week, so I decided to share a Royal Ascot spot (something that wasn't a marvelous Philip Treacy hat or colourful confection!). Both Princesses Beatrice & Eugenie attended Ladies' Day - and yes, both girls were actually wearing Philip Treacy hats.
Eugenie opted for a bright & dramatic colour combination, fuchsia and black, while sister Beatrice went for gold & navy blue. Both of these looks work for me, and together they made a very nice pair. Eugenie wore one of my favourite labels, Diane von Furstenberg, and if I said it once, I've said it twenty times (I'll spare you the links!) - any DVF dress in your closet will become a fav. The quality of her dresses are terrific, they are trendy & now, but still have a timeliness about them.
Buy Eugenie's fuchsia "Tulipan" dress online at Matches Fashion - and speaking of, have you seen Matches summer sale launched this week? Plenty to choose from (for now!). Enjoy!

It's Ladies' Day at Royal Ascot today, and the hats came out bigger & brighter, with a few more celebrities added to the mix, in all their millinery & finery! View more Ascot photos from Day 1 and Day 2..
More photos just added, with some very interesting hats - I'm torn between the delicate but dramatic white & black netting and the pink & purple chiffon!
Bruno Tonioli looked very dapper as he posed with Jackie St Clair (discreet word to the newspapers out there, you may want to check your facts as that is not his wife!!). Jackie herself has attended all three days, giving us a nice cross-section of colour schemes. Louise Redknapp represents the WAGs quite nicely in head-to-toe black, and another member of the Strictly team, Bruce Forsyth looked very dapper in his morning attire as well! Gallery below, and even more to follow..

The fabulous photos from Royal Ascot 2010 Day 1 were so popular on the site, it had to be followed by fabulous photo galleries of Day 2!
Check out the assortment of hats below, I'm loving the orange confection, although I'm not entirely sure what it's made from! We have flowers again, some very interesting structured ribbons, peacock feathers, neon pink leaves courtesy of Jackie St Clair (I also like the elegant pink & grey combination of her outfit!), an England flag perched on some netting, and the sleek gold feathers shown in the photo here. Now that is fabulous!
Ascot Day 2 also included the Prince Of Wales's Stakes and the Queen attended the event wearing a delightfully bright fuchsia suit with lilac trim, with matching hat.
Galleries below - with the creations seen so far, I can't wait to see what's in store for Ladies' Day!

Now these photo galleries will definitely put a smile on your face!
It's Royal Ascot time again, where fashion is fabulous and the hats are as important as the races (for some of us anyway!). Here you will see British style at it's finest, and if you're planning to attend the event near Windsor Castle, here are a few tips:
Royal Ascot Dress Code consists of formal day dresses & hats for the ladies - absolutely no off-the-shoulder, halter, spaghetti straps or miniskirts! Wear a bold colour to stand out and pick one statement piece (for example, a fabulous necklace, hat or dress). Don't forget your makeup bag as you want to stay fresh ALL day.
Check out terrific photos from Day 1 - I'm especially loving the grand lady in (and wearing!) a bouquet of bluebells & other purple flowers on her head .. she is wonderful. In addition to a sea of bright colours, you will also see familiar faces in this crowd - Danielle Bux (now Danielle Lineker) in what looks to be a Victoria Beckham dress (imagine that!) and Amanda Holden dressed head to toe in delightful turquoise (check out the turquoise hat with hearts). More to follow..
