Congratulations to Victoria Beckham, who received some very major praise from the British Fashion Council last night.. she was the recipient of the Designer Brand award. And it seems like just yesterday that she launched her very first collection of dresses (this was after the accessories & denim launch and the controversial parting of the ways with Rock & Republic). She certainly found her own groove.. the dress collection has been a huge success, and she is now designing handbags.

For the event she wore a dress from her own collection, which certainly comes as no surprise! What I find interesting (and rather clever) is that she is producing saleable versions of previous season designs in different colours - for example, her pal Eva Longoria wore a new royal blue version of a dress from Fall/Winter 2010.. it was a new arrival at Net-A-Porter just last month. I show her dresses quite often on the site, so take a look at her handbag collection below.. high quality indeed.
