Spot: Victoria Beckham is enjoying a very productive trip to New York as she showed not one, but two collections during New York Fashion Week! Her latest collection received rave reviews - the usual assortment of high quality signature form fitting dresses, and she also presented a runway show for Victoria, Victoria Beckham.
She made time today to help launch the inaugural run of a Union Jack flag covered subway train at Grand Central Station, in conjunction with the 'GREAT Britain' campaign. Wearing... you guessed it.. a black dress with pearl buttons and 3/4 sleeves (interesting cutout there), from her Fall/Winter 2012 collection! Just days after it was on the runway. Spot: Catching up on the post-Grammy Awards week, Angelina Jolie continued to make the rounds to promote her film "In The Land of Blood And Honey", as she made an appearance at the Berlin Film Festival. She attended the Cinema for Peace Gala Dinner, which is an annual event that promotes humanity through film, and not surprising, Blood & Honey won the Most Valuable Movie of the Year. She has been also receiving rave reviews for her directorial debut.
As for her dress.. it was a custom gown by luxury couture house (and friends of the site!), Ralph & Russo. The dress itself was a light grey silk cashmere herringbone tailored pencil gown with pleated neckline and matching belt.. and I have to say Angie looks terrific! This is classic tailored elegance..

Spot: Katy Perry certainly had a flare for the dramatic as she wore a magnificent couture creation by Alexis Mabille to the 2012 MusiCares Person Of the Year Gala in Los Angeles last night.
Paul McCartney was honored as this year's person of the year, for both his creative accomplishments and charitable work, and Katy was among the many guests who attended the event held in the Los Angeles Convention Center. Yoko Ono, Alicia Keys, Tom Hanks and even Sir Richard Branson joined in the festivities.

Spot: Angelina Jolie sparkled on the red carpet at the Berlin Film Festival premiere of her directorial debut "In the Land of Blood and Honey", once again choosing one of her favourite labels, Jenny Packham. She is one of a select few celebs who shows loyalty to certain brands. She could definitely have her pick of anything (that's an undersatement!), but Jenny Packham, Versace and Ralph Lauren all seem to have made her shortlist.
She looked glamorous in a burnished gold long sleeve wrap dress that looks like it might have her signature split, although she isn't actually showing any leg here (for a change!). And the styling was flawless as usual

More Diane Kruger fashion as she continues to put her best foot forward during the Berlin Film Festival - she is there to promote her new film about Marie Antoinette 'Farewell My Queen', and posed on the red carpet at "Festival Night" by BMW & German magazine BUNTE, wearing Alessandra Rich.
From the Spring/Summer 2012 runway, this is an interesting ensemble - boat neck sleeveless top in silver and white horizontal stripes, belted over a navy and white polka dot ankle length skirt. I would call this evening nautical.

Now this is a pleasant surprise! Diane Kruger is no stranger on the site, but it usually means a couture dress, or Chanel.. or something qually unbuyable online. She has the model factor when she poses on the red carpet, and while we haven't seen her in an English-speaking film since 'Unknown' with Liam Neeson (great movie), she is plenty busy on the red carpet just the same.
Here she is at the Berlin International Film Festival photocall for Farewell My Queen (Les Adiuex a la Reine), where she plays Marie Antoinette (great casting!). Looking fresh in a mixed print green floral dress with black & white striped skirt. She posed prettily with co-star Lea Seydoux, who looked pretty terrific herself in Prada.

The 2012 amfAR New York gala was held last night, bringing out a terrific assortment of stylish celebs, and it's quite an assortment of looks we have here!
Sarah Jessica Parker wore one of her favourite labels, a magnificent bubbglegum pink gown from Pre-Fall 2012, something we would have expected to see on the red carpet at the Academy Awards. However I am puzzled by the styling - there is no way this can be accidental (she didn't have time to remove her jacket and gloves!). A pink gown with little black leather jacket and ivory gloves... intriguing...

Spot: Louis Vuitton and Alexander McQueen as seen on Cate Blanchett at 'Maison Louis Vuitton Roma Etoile' Cocktail party & the AACTA Awards in Sydney.
Just catching up on a couple of recent Cate Blanchett style spots.. both of them in shades of gold, and both of them very major dresses! Cate can do no wrong... she takes risks in fashion, is never predicatable, and manages to look cool, call and collected in pretty much anything she wears.
She popped into Rome last week for an appearance at an event for 'Maison Louis Vuitton Roma Etoile' - this is the location of their brand store, the converted Roma Cinema Etoile (Rome's oldest movie theatre). Check out the video below for the store tour.. looks to sigh for.
