TIFF Fashion: Tom Ford & Elie Saab as seen on Madonna & Abbie Cornish at the 36th Annual Toronto International Film Festival - 'W.E.' Premiere on September 12th.More celebrity fashon from TIFF, as Madonna proudly attended the Northa American premiere as the Director of 'W.E.", her film about Wallis Simpson and King Edward VII. As a reminder, the movie tells two stories of romance - one is about Wallis, and the other is a contemporary storyline. Abbie Cornish plays Wally, the modern character.
At the premiere, Madonna showed that less is definitely more as she wore a simple elegant black dress by Tom Ford. Classic, and understated, I really like this look on her. She is chanelling the 1940s lately, especially with that Hollywood glam hairstyle. Interesting combination of black mesh and black sheer pantyhose.
And Abbie Cornish oozed Hollywood glamour (or Aussie glamour, as the case may be!), wearing a gorgeous ivory beaded gown by Elie Saab. This was from the Spring/Summer 2009 runway, so it's long gone. But we can still enjoy the look!
