Spot: Katy Perry was sparkling and irridescent in Blumarine at the Billboard Music Awards, wearing a gown from the Fall/Winter 2012 runway. And she joined good company tonight, as she received the Spotlight Award in recognition of five #1 singles from her album 'Teenage Dream', tying Michale Jackson for the record. She was twinkling in Blumarine - a sleeveless gown dotted with pyramid studs, assorted silvery lavender sequins, and drop-waist pleated chiffon skirt. This is very sparkly, but in a chic futuristic way that only Katy can pull off (it's anything but princess-like!). I love the cutout back, she looks super curvy.
She styled the look quite dramatic - nothing subtle here, her hair dyed black & purple, statement eyebrows and a dark wine colour shade of lipstick (the darkest lips we have seen on the red carpet in a while!). I hope Russell Brand knows what he's missing..
