Spot: I just wanted to pick out a dress that caught my eye.. and answered my own question from last month. Heidi Klum was the first (lucky!) celeb to wear Atelier Versace's Spring/Summer 2012 futuristic couture collection! And it seems fitting tha the event was the Elton John AIDS Foundation's Oscar Viewing Party.

This is a spectacular mini dress, and Heidi did it justice - I can't believe how much I love the construction. Textured bold yellow fabric with gold aluminum arcs supporting the strong shoulders and also framing the side cut-outs & scoop back. Her gold jewelry perfectly matched - that's a great looking statement cuff - and her hair was swept up into a simple updo. As a former model, she has the body to pull this off and the confident pose. As for Heidi herself, I see the wedding ring is now gone, what a shame, I was rooting for her & Seal, they seemed rock solid.
