Dita Von Teese looked unbelievable in Berlin on May 4th, at the Duftstars 2012 Awards.. and by unbelievable, I mean spectacular! She channels old school glam like no one else, from her glossy black hair (retro style, of course), fair skin and red lips.. and with those long black gloves, she looks like she stepped out on the red carpet from another era.

Hey, it's Dita Von Teese, how great to see her back on the site, it has been a while! The burlesque beauty was in New York, attending the premiere of 'God Save My Shoes' at the Paris Theater. And I know a few readers who may want to see this documentary!
It's a film that explores 'the intimate relationship women have with their shoes'.. and you have to check out the trailer below (it includes Dita). I think we all have shoes in our past (or present) that seem to speak to us! A fascinating topic.

Well, well, here is someone we haven't seen on the site for a while, it's the lovely Dita von Teese! The burlesque beauty was in Colgone to attend the Lambertz Monday Night 2011 Schoko & Fashion at Alter Wartesaal.
And did you see her guest appearance last week on CSI?.. I loved the epiosode! Without giving anything away (it had a neat twist to the storyline), she played a teacher-turned-burlesque dancer, who gets involved with Greg. She looked very un-Dita like as the teacher.. but very sweet & pretty.

How about a little red carpet magic to start the week? We have the lovely Dita Von Teese to thank for this, as she looked like a princess at The 2010 Life Ball held at Rathaus and Burgtheater held in Vienna this weekend. This is Europe's biggest AIDS charity event, and this year the highlights included a joint fashion show by Diane von Furstenberg, Calvin Klein and Kenneth Cole.

I t really only have one word to say here when looking at these photos, and that is wow! Dita Von Teese looks stunning in a bright red (and very beautiful) draped red gown by Elie Saab. This is from his Spring/Summer 2010 Ready to Wear collection. She is returning to the MGM Grand's Crazy Horse Paris cabaret show in Las Vegas for a limited run.. and last night was her big premiere. She definitely dressed the part in one red-hot dress!
You might remember she attended his show in Paris during Fashion Week, it was very easy to recognize this dress from his Spring collection, which had lots of bold shapes and this terrific tomato red.

Dita Von Teese was a leather-clad dominatrix at Christian Dior, but returned to her feminine va-va-voom roots in a very elegant dress from Elie Saab Spring/Summer 2010 Ready to Wear collection. That is a gorgeous shade of blue on her.
Bond girl Olga Kurylenko also wore Elie Saab, she chose a blush colour pencil dress with one shoulder. Haven't seen this much of Olga since the various premieres of Quantum of Solace last year! And the splash of red colour came from Elsa Pataky.. in Elie Saab. Of course.
