I have to interrupt the coverage of fashion-as-seen-on-television as I just spotted a fabulous dress that has arrived online! Won't get into the details of why I was browsing new arrivals at Matches Fashion, but I was thrilled to see a dress worn last week at the 2010 British Fashion Awards.
We know Alexa Chung wore Chanel (am I the only one who thought that was a faux pas?), SamCam wore Osman, and Clauda Schiffer looked amazing in a white, blue & gold printed dress by Mary Kratantzou.

Her maternity wardrobe is pretty terrific is well, especially as she is just wearing normal designer clothes! This is trend we saw when Coleen Rooney was expecting last summer.. celebs wearing non-maternity items as maternity! This should give you pending mommies some good ideas! Congrats to the folks at Mulberry, their Fall/Winter 2010 Multi-colored 'Glitzy Floral' Print has become one of the hottest dresses around!
We have already seen this dress a few times already, heck what's one more spot? Molly Sims was the first to wear this dress (to the Mulberry party in New York) - the lovely and very leggy Liv Tyler towered over Ellen Page at Comic Con back on July 24th - and just one week later Fearne Cotton wore the dress while out & about in London. And while they were all winning looks, Fearne eked out the win for me.. big fan of her style, and I like they way she went totally casual with the dress.

A couple of fabulous looking expectant mothers here today.. not something you often see on a red carpet! Both Claudia Schiffer and Sam Taylor Wood attended the UK premiere of "Kick Ass" - Claudia was on hand to support hubby Matthew Vaughan, who is the director of the film (and produced by Brad Pitt). And Sam showed support for her young fiance, as he is one of the stars...
As for the fashion, this is easy.. Claudia is glowing in her Temperley London Spring 2010 purple, white & black harlequin (rather swirly) silk sweater dress. This is available online over at Net-A-Porter, and no question Claudia can wear this after the baby is born. I have yet to see her wear anything maternity!
