Cate Blanchett in Proenza Schouler - ELLE Women in Hollywood

You're right if you think you haven't seen Cate for a while - she spent a few weeks in New York this summer, performing 'Uncle Vanya' on stage with the Sydney Theater Company. Film-wise, she has been working up a storm, with no less than seven projects in the next couple of years, inclduing three Hobbit movies.

Always fashion forward and polished, she is wearing Proenza Schouler, a dress from Spring/Summer 2013. Interesting forest green print with grommets on the skirt and bright blue studs on the bodice. The colour combination gives it an exotic aquatic feel, but the print itself is nothing like the sea (there's a man wearing a hard hat beside a tall ladder!). I look forward to seeing Cate at the upcoming promotion tour for 'The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey' - mark your calendar as the world premiere will be in New Zealand on November 28th.
