Spot: Diane Kruger in Versus Fall/Winter 2012. The 2012 Cannes Film Festival kicked off yesterday, and with Diane Kruger on the jury this year, you know the fashion is going to be noteworthy! Get ready for some gorgeous looks, but I'm guessing very few of her dresses will be accessible.
Spot: Busy night in London, as the city hosted one of the biggest premieres of the blockbuster summer season! I read an interesting article about all the big summer films this year, and how every one appears to be living up to expectations. I saw 'The Avengers' last week myself, and holy smokes, it was jaw-dropping.. it feels like a whole new genre, even though we know all those characters well. Really good fun.
Spot: We already saw Dita Von Teese looking out of this world at the Duftstars Awards 2012 - the German version of the Fifi awards (which honors the best fragrances of the year). And how about Elie Saab winning the Women's Prestige Award for La Parfum, his debut fragance..? Will definitely put that on my list (always interested in discovering new perfumes, me).. 
Spot: Dita Von Teese in Jean Paul Gaultier at the Duftstars 2012 Awards. Dita Von Teese looked unbelievable in Berlin on May 4th, at the Duftstars 2012 Awards.. and by unbelievable, I mean spectacular! She channels old school glam like no one else, from her glossy black hair (retro style, of course), fair skin and red lips.. and with those long black gloves, she looks like she stepped out on the red carpet from another era.
Spot: Spot: Jennifer Lopez in Lanvin on April 30th. Jennifer Lopez, Enrique Eglesias and Wisin Y Yandel held a press conference together in Los Angeles to announce a Summer Tour that will kick off on July 14th in Montreal. Thirteen dates will include Washington, Chicago, Atlanta and Miami, and now I know this all sounds quite manageable, but does this woman ever take a break? She juggles the most projects of any celebrity.. impressive.
Spot: How about some Kardashian fashion today? And in case you missed it, the ever-present family will not be going away anytime soon.. they just signed a massive new contract with E! for three more seasons. Although I heard today that Khloe and Lamar may have quite their site, mainly so Lamar can focus on his basketball, which has suffered. The Kimye romance is drawing mixed reviews - is it real or publicity..?
Spot: More from CinemaCon 2012, as the Big Screen Achievement Events were held last night at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. And my goodness, check out Charlize Theron, who looked magnificent in a black cutout dress (cutout in LOTS of places!) by Aussie designer Dion Lee. From the Fall/Winter 2012 runway, she oozes confidence and sophistication (being a blonde glamazon helps just a little!).
Spot: Katy Perry looked magical at the ASCAP Pop Music Awards - an invitation-only event where they honor songwriters & publishers of the most performed pop songs of the year. And when Katy glams up with a slight boho twist, she knocks it out of the park - this is my favourite look in months! And check out the hair.. the blue is gone! She's back to rich dark locks, with a purple hue.. 
Spot: Madonna has been keeping busy lately - after a flurry of activity surrounding the launch of her new album MDNA, she popped by Macy's in New York yesterday for the launch of her new fragrance 'Truth or Dare'.. I've seen the ads (very slick), but haven't tried the perfume. Fragrance aside, I love the way she looked at the launch!
