More highlights from the 2011 Cannes Film Festival, and how about the lovely Milla Jovovich..? It's easy to forget that Milla started her days as a model, but when she looks like this on a red carpet, it's very easy to remember her modelling career! Great poses.

At the 2011 Cannes premiere of 'La Conquete' she wore a stunning dress with red sequin collar & belt dress by Prada (modified), the like of which we have NOT seen on any red carpet. For me, I can't hide it... I love love love this on her! The shape of the dress, with drop-waist and belt, has a 20s flapper vibe to it, which she accented perfectly with retro soft curls. More from the amFar Cinema against Aids gala held during the 2011 Cannes International Film festival.. and I know this is supposed to be Fashion for a Good Cause, but I just can't find it in me to love these looks.

Dresses from recent Givenchy Haute Couture collections have been unusual and edgy, but that doesn't mean we haven't seen some winning looks. Cate Blanchett looked fabulous at the 2011 Academy Awards in a most unusual lilac pleated gown with delicate beaded applique. And reader response was overwhelmingly positive. Her hair was short and chic, and the (flawless!) styling let the dress get all the attention.

Kirsten Dunst put HER best foot forward at the 2011 Cannes Film festival last night! She definitely stays out of the limelight when she's not promoting a film, so it is nice to see her on a red carpet. She was at Cannes to promote her new film 'Melanchola'.

It's also easy to forget that her first major role was opposite Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt when she was just 12 years old! She has enjoyed some high profile romances too, I still remember her with Jake Gyllenhaal, then Orlando Bloom (after they made 'Elizabethtown'). I saw her on Rachel Ray recently, making a comment that you should never date actors!

What a busy week of red carpet fashion, yes we have more from the 2011 Cannes International Film Festival, the premiere of "The Beaver', directed by Jodie Foster, starring Jodie and Mel Gibson. She proved what a loyal friend she is to Mel - this was his very first public appearance on a red carpet in many many months (for reasons we are all familiar with!), and she stayed by his side for the length of the red carpet. We don't have one photo of her without him!

Jodie has always been a supporter of all things Giorgio Armani, and it looks like she chose a navy blue asymmetric dress from the Spring/Summer 2011 runway. Have to say, Jodie is just a class act.

Fashion photos from the 2011 Cannes Film Festival come at a fast and furious pace, and in many cases, celebrities being snapped on the red carpet have nothing to do with the film (odd, but true). When Italian director Nanni Moretti Paolo was asked by the Guardan if he was pleased with the attention his premiere received as Cheryl Cole was in attendance, he responded "Who is he? What job does he do". Ouch. But I get it.

So I've decided to combine fashion spots, to make it easier to see who wore what! When you want to review the style of a certain celeb, it's nice to see everything in one place!
