Spot: Scarlett Johansson in Dolce & Gabbana at the 2012 Met Gala - celebrating the opening of Schiaparelli and Prada 'Impossible Conversations' at the Costume Institute, held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York City.

Scarlett has been very busy lately, and with the success of 'The Avengers', she has earned some time off. But in the meantime, she spend the evening in red carpet glam, wearing Dolce & Gabbana to the Met Ball tonight.

Scarlett's style goes from one extreme to another - she can be prim and proper, with a futuristic updo (we have seen a few of those here!), but can also channel her inner Italian sex goddess, as she does here in Dolce & Gabbana. Stunning and intricate embellished off-shoulder gown, with a fishtail skirt that is an explosion of chiffon. Check out the details close-up, the craftsmanship is remarkable.. those almost look like diamonds! Now wouldn't that be something..

And not to be outdone, Bianca Brandolini D'Adda was dripping in gold.. including a cape that would do Cleopatra proud! You can skip the subtlety here, this is major fashion indeed.
