Spot: Both Rachel Zoe Padma Laksmi wore majorly emebllished black gowns to the 2012 CFDA Fashion Awards, and while it's tempting to call this "Battle of the Black Sequins', I will keep that to myself. It would be doing an injustice to both gowns!First of all, it's nice to see Rachel back on the site again, she is always enjoyable to cover, and just like many of the celebs who have launched their own collection, she does tend to wear her own pieces. This major sequined gown with long sleeves was one of her own - no online shopping, but I did want to share something very similar! Her black sequin Isabella gown just went on sale over at Neiman Marcus - if you have a major event coming up, you won't find better value.. and there is that matching little cardigan which will get plenty of wear..
And Padma Lakshmi looked radiant in Naeem Khan- I may have called these gowns "black sequins" above, but it is much more than that! Her dress ia actually midnight blue and black - from Fall/Winter 2012, it has a sexy sparkling fringe bodice, and heavily embellished midnight blue skirt.
