Spot: Yigal Azrouel, Yves Saint Laurent & Fendi dresses as seen at the 10th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball held at a Private Residence in Brentwood.Catching up on weekend fashion, here's an interesting contrast.. a dress from the 2008 runway vs. a very new dress from Resort 2012. I'm not sure what fashion lesson we can learn here, the looks are all over the place, but heck we can certainly enjoy the photo gallery.
The 10th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball was held at a Private Residence in Brentwood, a fundraiser that honors leaders in film, TV and music. Chrysalis is "dedicated to creating a pathway for self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment." So this is definitely fashion for a good cause.
Among others, Olivia Wilde was being honored for her work as activist.. and she wore a VERY new season dress - this is Yigal Azrouel, from the Resort 2012 collection, a black patterned maxi with tan sleeves, embellished belt & cuffs. Jennifer Garner went for a strapless black satin dress by Yves Saint Laurent, this style goes all the way back to the Spring/Summer 2008 runway. And mixing it up even more, we had Ashley Greene in a coral strapless dress by Fendi. Three VERY different looks at the same event!
