Spot: January Jones in Atelier Versace at the 2012 Met Gala - celebrating the opening of Schiaparelli and Prada 'Impossible Conversations' at the Costume Institute, held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York City.

It's time for a spot of colour at the Met Ball, and January Jones is that ray of sunshine we need on the front page! She has worn plenty of Versace before, so it's no surprise that Donatella was her designer for the evening (celebrities are assigned to the designers, in case you were wondering).

Heidi Klum was the first to wear a dress from Atelier Versace Spring/Summer 2012, and it also happened to be bright yellow and gold. Where Heidi had a textured mini, January had a custom gown that was modified from the runway. Strapless yellow corset gown with hip peplum, and fabulous gold aluminum arc inserts, she polished off her look with the smoothest bob I've seen in a while. That's a great hairstyle...

And Donatella herself made a grand appearance in a very major embellished gown - she's never one to shy away from a red carpet, is she??
