Spot: Cameron Diaz in Stella McCartney & Karolina Kurkova in Rachel Zoe at the 2012 Met Gala - celebrating the opening of Schiaparelli and Prada 'Impossible Conversations' at the Costume Institute, held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art New York City.

These two lovelies may not be wearing the same designer, but they sure are channeling the same look - long-sleeve embellished minimalist gown with open back! Karolina just added a matching turban...

Cameron was gleaming and sparkling in a fabulous custom gown by Stella McCartney, and those crystals look somewhere between pale gold and silver - with her hair in a sassy little coiff, she looked modern and fresh. And I would have said unique, had Karolina Kurkova not walked the red carpet in her sparkling long sleeve gown backless gown by Rachel Zoe!

Karolina looked amazingly retro in a turban that would make Joan Crawford proud, and what an attention-getter courtesy of Rachel Zoe, who certainly knows how to style a memorable look or two! Her pale pink sequined gown was similar in style to Cameron's, but Stella wins for craftsmanship as you can see by the close-up below.
