Spot: On the subject of model-turned-actresses, the very lovely Laetitia Casta made her arrival at the Venice Film festival also wearing Valentino - a dress you can actually buy online (budget warning: it's major!).It's too early to really make a call, but I'm guessing that Valentino will be one of the most popular labels worn during the event (when in Rome, so to speak). We have already seen two in two days. And since Laetitia will be serving as a jury member at the Venice Film Festival, we will be seeing more of her in the next 10 days than I think I have seen in the past year!
For her arrival in Venice, she chose a long-sleeved textured dress from Valentino Fall/Winter 2012 collection. This has a vintage vibe to it - white embroidery with two rose panels down the front, on delicate white lace stripes (both horizontal and vertical). It's more sheer in real life than on the runway, understandably so.. a real folk-inspired look. The dress is major, but you can actually buy it online at Neiman Marcus (wow!). Photos and link below.
