The 2012 ALMA Awards were held last night in Pasadena, and check out Eva Longoria in Monique Lhuillier and Christina Aguilera in Michale Kors!I don't have to tell regular readers that black lace and mesh is very popular on the red carpet right now - at the Creative Emmy Awards, we saw no less than 5 dresses with mesh/lace accents (in different styles - strapless, vintage, classic, etc).
Evo Longoria has been the queen of the ALMAs for the past few years, and tihs year she co-hosted the show, once again, with pal George Lopez. Eva also happens to be one of the show's Executive Producer, so you could say she is the queen and boss of this red carpet! She wore a dress by Monique Lhuillier - from the Fall/Winter 2012 runway, it has an interesting embellished mesh yoke, draped skirt with thigh-high split and leather belt. The details are lovely close-up.
Christina Aguilera received an honorary award last night and also wore black - check out her Black Lace Combo Gown by Michael Kors. Round neck, long sleeves, lace cutouts and thigh high split, this dress is actually available online at StyleBop. She paired the dress with those amazing Christian Louboutin Decorpumps recently seen on Serena Williams!
