We definitely saw silver on the red carpet at the 2011 Grammy Awards, but there was also some notable gold, as you can see here! And they were anything but subtle...

You can count on Kim Kardashian to give us something to talk about - she wore a plunging gold dress by KAUFMANFRANCO, and if you saw her red carpet interview, you know she had some problems with this dress in the last minute. Good thing for us (and the television viewers), as this plunging thigh-high slit dress was a few centimeters away from a wardrobe malfunction! Kudos to Kim - she knows exactly how to get noticed..

While KAUFMANFRANCO is available online now, Kim's dress isn't to be found.. will update if that changes. In the meantime, we can just admire from afar...

And Heidi Klum looked stunning in liquid gold - another dramatic plunging dress with cutout shoulders and fabulous open back. I'm sure hubby Seal was VERY happy with her choice of dress, she was a knockout. This shimmery gold number was by Julien Macdonald... no one compares to Heidi for red carpet poses, her supermodel experience serves her very well. Rate the looks below!
