Best Dressed: Rihanna & Nicole Kidman in Jean Paul Gaultier couture @ 2011 Grammy Awards Red Carpet


Spot: Both Rihanna & Nicole Kidman wore spectacular dresses by Jean Paul Gaultier to the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Feast your eyes on these photos!! Both Nicole Kidman and Rihanna hit MAJOR home runs last night at the 2011 Grammy Awards, and they actually have something in common. The BOTH wore Jean Paul Gaultier Spring/Summer 2011 Haute Couture on the red carpet..

Nicole Kidman looked amazing in a rather unusual colour - her ombre effect strapless mermaid garden-effect dress had shades of green, taupe and deep cranberry, with beautiful ruffle trim (check out the ruffles on the skirt). The colour was a fabulous choice! My favourite moment of the show was when she was caught singing along to Katy Perry's 'Teenage Dream'. It looked like she was having a great time.

Going for gold: Kim Kardashian in KAUFMANFRANCO & Heidi Klum in Julien Macdonald @ 2011 Grammy Awards


 We definitely saw silver on the red carpet at the 2011 Grammy Awards, but there was also some notable gold, as you can see here! And they were anything but subtle...

You can count on Kim Kardashian to give us something to talk about - she wore a plunging gold dress by KAUFMANFRANCO, and if you saw her red carpet interview, you know she had some problems with this dress in the last minute. Good thing for us (and the television viewers), as this plunging thigh-high slit dress was a few centimeters away from a wardrobe malfunction! Kudos to Kim - she knows exactly how to get noticed..

Florence Welch & Nicki Minaj in Givenchy Haute Couture @ 2011 Grammy Awards Red Carpet


There were a couple of notable collections worn on the red carpet at the 2011 Grammy Awards, and Givenchy Haute Couture was one of them!

Florence Welch performed as part of the opening tribute to Aretha Franklin, along with Christiana Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride and Yolanda Adams. For me, Florence was the standout, her effortless rendition of 'Think' was terrific!

She wore a twinkling beige Elie Saab dress for the performance, but on the red carpet, she chose a Givenchy Haute Couture white swan dress! Yes, very similar to the white sheer swan applique dress seen on Carine Roitfeld last week. Who knew we would see two of these

Katy Perry in Armani, Jennifer Lopez Emilio Pucci & Miley Cyrus Robert Cavalli @ 2011 Grammy Awards - silver sparkle!


 How about the silver sparkle at the 2011 Grammy Awards..?

Katy Perry & her family all wore Armani.. from her grandmother, who walked the red carpet using a cane with bling, to hubby Russell Brand who flew back from New York for support. So much for the rumours, eh? He was very funny on Saturday Night Live this weekend - I can't believe I'm saying this, but he looked pretty darn good without the scruffy beard. And as the saying goes.. the family that wears Armani together, stays together. Katy looked quirky and fun with her angel wings.. and I really enjoyed her performance! Fav moment was seeing Nicole Kidman singing along to 'Teenage Dream'..

Dianna Agron in Vivienne Westwood, Lea Michele Emilio Pucci & Monica @ 2011 Grammy Awards


Spot: Dianna Agron, Lea Michele & Monica wore black dresses to the 53rd Annual GRAMMY Awards at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

An awards show red carpet isn't complete without a look at celebrities who wore black, and at the 2011 Grammy Awards, we had a couple of stylish Glee girls and some Haute Couture!

Both Dianna Agron and Lea Michele have become ones to watch on the red carpet, and neither disappointed in their choice of black dress. Lea went for something more edgy than usual - she has been enjoying princess ballgowns for recent awards shows. so this black lace Emilio Pucci is a nice change. The ruffle trim dress modifed from the Spring/Summer 2011 runway. Not fashion related, but am I the only one who noticed Lea announced Grammy "wimmers"..?
