Spot: Christina Hendricks & Jennifer Carpenter at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards, held at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles on September 18th.

Check out these va va voom looks in twinkling silver! There is more to follow as we saw plenty of red and black on the red carpet the 2011 Emmy Awards, but it's time to take a look at some pale sparkling gowns.

Christina Hendricks wore Aussie designer Johanna Johnson, and I have to say she looked fantastic. She has such a unique shape (oh my goodness, those curves), but she found a perfect dress to show off the curves, her pale complexion and fabulous red hair! I have this current obsession with red hair, maybe it's time... check out this photo of Christina's hair & makeup. Gorgeous.

And Jennifer Carpenter chose Tony Ward Couture, from Spring/Summer 2011. We don't often see her on the red carpet, but this is a home run look for her as well. We're note quite sure what happened between herself and Michael C. Hall (Dexter, her real-life now-ex-husband), but I'm looking forward to the next season of the show.
