Atelier Versace at the 2011 Academy Awards: Anne Hathaway, Jennifer Hudson & Charlize Theron in Haute Couture!


 When we take a look at who wore Atelier Versace to the 2011 Academy Awards (and after parties) - there were a couple of notable dresses seen 'round the world, and a hidden gem at the Vanity Fair Party!

As an Academy Award co-host, Anne Hathaway was a doll (to quote my sis!) - she was charming and funny, and absolutely gorgeous in an assortment of exquisite dresses. But my favourite moment was when she donned a tuxedo and sang "On My Own'.. if you saw her host Saturday Night Live, that singing voice was no surprise. Her last dress, and the one she traveled in to the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, was a deep red strapless sequin draped gown by Atelier Versace, from the Spring/Summer 2011 collection.

Valentino at the 2011 Academy Awards: Anne Hathaway, Florence Welch, Rosie Huntington-Whitely, Selita Ebanks & more!


Spot: Anne Hathaway, Florence Welch, Rosie Huntington-Whitely & more wore Valentino dresses at the 2011 Academy Awards, Vanity Fair Oscar Party & Elton John Aids Foundation party.

The flurry of activity that was the Academy Awards has quieted down, but the sheer number of dresses worn on both the red carpet and the after-parties is something else. It seems EVERYONE decided to attend a party.. including celebs we haven't seen for a while (when was the last time Charlize Theron walked a red carpet? Stay tuned for that dress).

I want to make things more efficient, and create some continutity, so let's take a look at Valentino at the 2011 Oscars (show and parties!). Anne Hathway got the party started with Senor Valentino hisself, wearing a magnifcent red dress from his "Archival" collection.

Scarlett Johansson Dolce & Gabbana backless lace & Jessica Biel Versace @ Vanity Fair Oscar Party 2011- Jimmy K girls!


Can you guess what Jessica Biel and Scarlett Johansson have in common here..? Sure, they both attended 2011 Vanity Fair Oscar Party, and Scarlett presented at the Academy Awards, but that's not it.

Scarlett wore a plum & purple lace dress by Dolce Gabbana, and Jessica wore a gold & silver metallic barely-there Versace dress (oh la la!), so it's not the dresses they have in common either.

If you happened to watch Jimmy Kimmel AFTER the Academy Awards, you know exactly what I'm talking about.. they are both part of the Hottie Body Hump Club! I only wish we saw Jessica Alba, Minka Kelly, Emily Blunt, Eva Longoria, Sofia Vergara and Kelly Ripa out last night to complete the club...

Mandy Moore in Monique Lhuillier (red carpet and singing!) & Hailee Steinfeld Marchesa @ 2011 Academy Awards


The Academy Awards has a way of bringing out the princess in some girls, and we have both a teen newcomer and a former teen queen herself! Little Hailee Steinfeld didn't win the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, but she seemed to thoroughly enjoy herself during this awards show season! It could have been overwhelming (she's only 14!), but she handled it like a pro.

She wore a twinnkling pale pink dress by Marchesa to the Academy Awards - it was custom made just for her, but also seems to be a modified version of this spectacular gown from Resort 2011. The headband was a nice youthful touch as well.
