Sarah Jessica Parker vs Anne Hathaway in Valentino Couture NYC Ballet Fall Gala

These are truly spectacular gowns.. both of them! Sarah Jessica really does rule the red carpet, and today is no exception.. wearing a draped and flowing sleevess gown in a delicate pale shade, with embroidered floral details. But for me, it's the cape... who doesn't love a fabulous cape? Straight from the Fall/Winter 2012 runway, no one can pull off this type of look better than Sarah Jessica Parker. Complete with statement updo... it really is fabulous.

Anne went for a completely different look, but also Valentino Haute Couture. A sheer gown will billowing sleeves and dark green embroidered floral - very forest-like. It's the back that caught my eye.. quite stunning. Check out the photos below - the details are amazing, you can really see the craftsmanship.
