Newlywed Rachel Weisz is picking up the pace to promote her new film 'The Whistleblower" at the same time her new hubby is making the rounds for 'Cowboys and Aliens". In case you missed it, Rachel married her James Bond, Daniel Craig, a few weeks ago in a private ceremony. Surprising yes, but congrats to them both!
Rachel was red hot in a red dress by Valentino out and about in New York for two events, and here's where it gets a little confusing. She attended the Screening of 'The Whistleblower' in New York wearing the dynamite dress with bows on the shoulder from Valentino's Resort 2012.

A very lucky and lovely Anne Hathaway attended The White Fairy Tale Love Ball at the Chateau de Wideville last night, and yes that is Valentino Garavani himself on her arm. She accompanied the designer to this charity auction fashion show of 45 unique dresses that were created for the Naked Heart Foundation.
And of course Anne is wearing Valentino Haute Couture.. but do you notice something special about the dress..? If you have seen 'Valentino: The Last Emperor', this is THE dress.. the one with waterfall ruffles that he argues about with his assistants. It's one of my favourite scenes in the film.. an inside look

I'm digging some of these premieres this month, it means the return of some pretty terrific shows! Off-topic for a moment, the first episode of 'True Blood' was fabulous... who knew Sookie's fairy world would turn out to be... ummm.. not so pretty after all? That was unexpected...
OK, back to THIS profile, the lovely Rose Byrne walked the red carpet at the Season 4 premiere of her show 'Damages' (another crtically acclaimed series). And I'm so pleased to see the fringe hairstyle is back.. this is a great look, close up photo available for download here!

OK, I'm guessing there was a Valentino event held at the Gramercy Hotel last night in New York City, if these two spots are anything to go by! It would have been a rather random occurence to see both Lily Rabe (Broadway actress and daughter of the late Jill Clayburgh) and Carey Mulligan, snapped arriving at the hotel wearing Valentino. We'll know soon enough, but I wanted to get the dresses 'out there'. Update: Carey was attending the Lincoln Center Institute's Junior Spring Benefit.
Lily wore a rather major dress that you can actually buy online over at Net-A-Porter - a red ruffled red silk chiffon dress with long sleeves, raw edged leather ruffles and on-trend thigh high front split! She may not have won the Tony on Sunday night, but I'm digging her fashion as one to watch.

I think my favourite part of covering red carpet fashion is when the dresses actually become accessible. And with the timing of the awards show this past month (Golden Globes, SAG Awards & the recent BAFTAs), it seems new arrivals are bringing us more treats each week.
Michelle Williams may not have won the Golden Globe Award for 'Best Actress in a Motion Picture, Drama' her role in 'Blue Valentine' (that honour went to Natalie Portman), but it's really nice to see this actress really come into her own this year. We've seen Amy Adams in an assortment of dresses during this 2011 Awards Show Season - not only has she been nominated a few times, her film 'The Fighter' has been one of the favourites. So she has been everywhere with the rest of the cast. But I have to say THIS is my favourite look of hers so far.. it's the dress and the hair..
