Claire Danes attended two events in one day last week - the official launch of the Valentino Garavani Virtual Museum in New York, and also the New York Women in Film and Television's Muse Awards, where she was being honored. From Resort 2012, this is a minimalist pink & nude twinkling beaded dress that fit her like a glove, and sparkled in all the right places. Jaime King struck a fabulous pose one the red carpet at the CBS, Showtime & CW Summer 2011 TCA party, and my goodness, she can just do no wrong these days. However, you do know she was a model, right..? This gives her a huge advantage over other actresses as she knows 'zactly how to pose (and pretty much how to wear any dress she wants!).
She chose Valentino, a modified dress from the Fall/Winter 2011 runway.. and if you're going to take any trends away from this piece, they should be pleats and lace.
I love this dress, the details are lovely.. delicate lace, flattering drop waist, and that skirt with knife pleats.

Wow, check out the lovely Jessica White this weekend, as the model turned sometime actress attended Russell Simmons' 12th Annual Art For Life East Hampton Benefit in New York. And this is definitely the season for the Hamptons, when New Yorkers rush to leave the city for the beach (I know some of those folks!).
As for Jessica's fashion, we would recognize her dress anywhere, those signature structured organza swirls by Valentino.. and it's hard to believe this dress was from Spring/Summer 2010! There is nothing wrong with wearing a dress from last summer, of course, I just can't believe a whole year has gone by
