The very lovely Gisele Bundchen attended the AFI Tribute to Morgan Freeman just a few weeks ago, looking flawless in a show-stopping seuined gown with pink sash by Oscar de la Renta. Since I've been on a real red carpet roll (Tina Fey in her gowns was a fun find, glad you liked it!), I had to share the news that Gisele's gown actually IS available online now.

If you will indulge me in some Parisian shopping today, I feel like we just stumbled upon a fabulous boutique where celebrities find their red carpet gowns! And in the case of L’Eclaireur in Paris, I don't think we're far off the mark.

I was browsing for some new arrivals today, and it's quite fun to spot some of these major red carpet labels that have become accessible. And we have Farfetch to thank for these magnificent gowns by Oscar de la Renta! When Gisele Bundchen wants to strike a pose, there is just no stopping her! Check out this statement look on the red carpet at the latest AFI awards show - 2011 "TV Land Presents: AFI Life Achievement Award Honoring Morgan Freeman". I'm not sure how or why Gisele would be honoring Morgan Freeman, but there could be some connection somewhere (her hubby Tom Brady, same agent, mutual admiration?).

Anyway, Gisele looked every inch the supermodel in this Oscar de la Renta pewter & silver sequined dress from the Pre-Fall 2011 collection. The neon pink bow at the waist is really a nice touch, great idea for a pop of colour to update one of your current evening dresses.

Spot: Oscar de la Renta grey knit top & embellished skirt as seen on Jennifer Garner on 'The Late Show with David Letterman' and the New York premiere of 'Arthur' held at the Ziegfeld Theatre.

Just catching up on some much-anticpiated films, the New York premiere of 'Arthur' was held at the Ziegfeld Theatre on Tuesday night, and it brought the lovely Jennifer Garner and Helen Mirren, both fashion notewothy in their own right. As for the film, it's a remake of a terrific little movie from 1981, and despite the major publicity, reviews haven't been great, ah well.

Jennifer wore a surprising ensemble to the premiere - a grey knit top with dark skirt with (seemingly) mirror embellishment. This is Oscar de la Renta, from his Pre-fall 2011 collection. On the runway the dress included a bright yellow belt, which I do

Kristin Davis is certainly no newcomer to Oscar de la Renta, and for me, I really like to see celebrities support a label.. reminds me of Renee Zellweger and Carolina Herrera. It doesn't mean they have to be exclusive, I just think it's nice to have a signature look. And while there is nothing wrong with being a fashion chameleon (some celebs do it very well), a classic & elegant look never goes out of style. Look at Audrey Hepburn and Hubert de Givenchy.. not only did she wear his designs in her personal life, he designed almost all of the outfits she wore in movies after they met while filming 'Sabrina' in 1953. 

Spot: Michelle Williams wore Oscar de la Renta black lace dress from Spring/Summer 2011 to the 63rd National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Gala at Cipriani.

Both Michelle Williams and Sofia Coppola attended the 63rd National Board of Review of Motion Pictures Gala at Cipriani - and Sofia was actually there to collect an award! She received a Special Achievment Award for writing, directing, and producing 'Somewhere'.

Fashion-wise, you know these two will stick to more minimalist looks - Michelle is totally reminding me of Carey Mulligan these days, have you noticed? They both favour the less-is-more approach, and they are both sporting light blonde short bobs. This is a very distinctive look, and they both work it well -
