Claire Danes in Lanvin leather at Time 100 Gala - one of the Most Influential People in the World

Spot: New York has been keeping us busy with the Tribeca Film Festival, and now we have the Time 100 Gala held at Frederick P. Rose Hall. This is an annual list compiled by Time Magazine of the 100 Most Influential People in the World, and Claire Danes is on the list this year! Her portrayal of CIA Agent Carrie Matheson wowed the critics, and the tv audience, making 'Homeland' one of the biggest hits of 2011. It's a fantastic show.

For the event, Claire went for full-on glam styling, something we rarely see. She wore a crimson red patent leather sleeveless dress by Lanvin from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection that was sleek and chic, but the biggest surprise here is her hairstyle, I don't think we have ever seen the edgy rocker girl look on her!

Congrats on her accomplishments.. very well deserved. And I like this strong look on her, it makes the right statement for the event.
