How about a battle of major Gucci dresses today..? I'm kidding, there's not "battle" here, but I do find it interesting to see two major dresses from Gucci Fall/Winter 2011 collection being worn worlds apart! Rsei Huntington-Whiteley appeared on the very green carpet of the Moscow Film Festival wearing a stunning asymmetric dress with statement floral shoulder and sheer skirt over hotpants.
And the next morning, Florence Welch rocked Good Morning America's Summer Concert series in Central Park wearing a luscious berry colour one sleeve chiffon dress with statement floral accents. And the same sheer skirt over hotpants. Florence has an advantage when it comes to this collection as apparently she was one of designer Frida Giannini mentioned

How about this va va AND voom dress on Salma Hayek..? Let's cut to the chase here, there will be no online shopping anywhere near this ensemble - Salma is wearing Gucci Premiere, a label she seems to own right about now (and that might be a more accurate statement than I realize, as hubby Francois Henri Pinault is CEO of PPR, the company that owns Gucci!).
Salma was the first to wear this couture collection when it launched last tear - there are no plans for runway shows, and I'm guessing many of these dresses will be one-offs. It's nice see Anne Hathaway back on a blue (red!) carpet, last night she was in Los Angeles to attend the premiere of 'Rio' held at Grauman's Chinese Theatre.
We actually haven't seen her since she co-hosted the Academy Awards last month, and those reviews were mixed. Critics were kinder towards Anne, but wondered about James Franco's contribution. Personally I don't think any Oscar hosts can win.. the show is very long, and there's a nervous vibe in the audience.

She happily posed with hubby Marc Anthony at the The London Hotel in West Hollywood to announce the couple's collaboration with Kohl's Department Store. They will be launching lifestyle collections - for hims and hers - featuring apparel and accessories. Jennifer's collection will include sportswear, dresses, sleepwear, bags, jewelry and shoes, and Marc will focus on menswear (swap sleepwear for suit separates!). This is quite a coup for Kohl's!
