I was browsing some new online arrivals, and how about this major sparkler? French actress Ludivine Sagnier looked bright and very glam in a sequin and lace dress by Elie Saab to the European Film Awards back in December. From Resort 2012, it just arrived online at Boutique 1.
Elie Saab has been dominating the red carpet in the past couple of years, and it is one ofa few labels that you can buy online that continue to surprise (and amaze!) me. Hilary Swank made a rare red carpet appearance in Toronto.. unrelated to the Toronto Film Festival, and she wasn't even the main event!
I'm talking about the IIFA 2011 Awards, of course, the International India Film Academy gala that was held in North America for the very first time this year! So it's understandable that the paparazzi focus was on all the Bollywood stars - Hilary was there to present an award (not receive anything), and it's great to see a cultural city like Toronto embrace this international event.
